Apple Arcade Free Period
After the launch of iOS 13 one of its most interesting novelties, Apple Arcade, is launching a one-month free promotion. After this, €4.99/month will be charged to be able to enjoy all the great games that are available on the Apple gaming platform
When there is a free trial period, we normally sign up and to avoid being charged the first installment, we immediately unsubscribe. It's something that works on Spotify, Apple Music, Netflix, HBO, as we show in this video on our YouTube channel, but on Apple Arcade it doesn't.
Here we will tell you what happened to me, personally, when I carried out this process.
Apple Arcade FREE for a month, as long as you don't do this:
Obviously, nothing more install iOS 13, we entered the App Store and accessed the new menu ARCADEthat appears at the bottom of the screen.
When entering, we subscribe to enjoy the first month of trial, as shown in the following images:
Subscribed to Apple Arcade
After downloading two games to test the platform, we talked in the team about what would happen if we unsubscribed so that the monthly fee would not be charged at the end of the trial period. I personally volunteered to do it. The first ad didn't look good
Notice of losing the free month to Apple Arcade
But still press unsubscribe. After that I went to play one of the downloaded games and
Pay €4.99 per month
I've run out of free month of Apple Arcade That's why we recommend you don't venture what we normally do when subscribing to trial periods. Put an alert, or event on the calendar, for the day before your free period ends and unsubscribe in the way that we comment below:
After the disappointing end of the test, I paid the 4, 99 € of the month and after doing so I unsubscribed and yes, now I have the platform operational for a month. After that period I won't be able to use the gaming platform unless I like it and turn it back on, which I'm sure will do.
That is why we warn you so that you do not make the mistake that I have personally made. But everything is for the general good of all of you.
Greetings.
