Updates for iPhone 4s and 5 and early iPad

These updates for these older Apple operating systems are, specifically, iOS 9.3.6 and iOS 10.3 .4 It's pretty rare for Apple to release updates for their operating systems, but it seems they had compelling reasons this time around.
These updates can be installed on devices such as the iPhone 4s or iPhone 5
According to a support document, as of November 2019 devices released in 2012 and earlier will require this update. And they will need it, specifically, to continue to show the precise location in the GPS and to maintain the correct date and time.
This is reportedly due to a GPS data transfer error that began affecting other companies' products in April 2019 and Apple productsas of November 2019. In addition, they have also taken the opportunity to fix some security and stability bugs.
