Two novelties arrive with the latest beta of watchOS 6
The presentation of watchOS 6 in the last Keynote came quite loaded with news. The truth is that it meant a qualitative leap with new features such as our own App Store integrated into the watch's operating system, among other new features.
But, in addition to those presented and some minor ones that were left unanswered for being minors, with the arrival of the latest betas of the operating systems we know more news that will arrive. And in the case of watchOS, we know two very interesting functions.Functions that will be quite useful for users of the Watch
These two innovations make the Watch a little more independent from the iPhone
The first one is related to the app store of the Apple Watch As of watchOS 6, users will be able todelete pre-installed apps on the watch. In this way, if they bother us, we can get rid of apps that belong to the operating system that we don't use. This way we can prioritize the alternatives that we do use.
The second novelty is also quite interesting as it indicates that, in the future, we may see a Apple Watch that is completely independent from the iPhone . This is something that is requested by users and there is a lot of rumors that it can happen.
The discovery was made by a developer
Starting with watchOS 6, if this is not changed for the final version of the system, it will be possible toupdate the Apple Watchdepending the least on the iPhone. The Watch itself would inform us that an update is available and, being connected to a Wi-Fi network and having a battery percentage higher than 50%, we can update it directly.
No doubt these features will be more than welcome by many users. And, it is more than likely that, in future betas, many more interesting news and functions will arrive. What do you think? We will keep you informed of all of them.
