Do not see the name in WhatsApp notifications
There are different ways to configure WhatsApp notifications and one of them is to hide both the sender's name and the content of the message.
In the link that we have shared with you in the previous paragraph, we will tell you about the four possible ways to configure the notifications of this messaging app. The first is to display the sender's name and the message. The second is to show the name of the person who sent the message and not show the content of the message. The third way is to show neither the sender's name nor the message and the fourth way is to receive nothing.
Well then, the third way stopped working. Hiding both the name and the content of the message could not be done since when doing it as we explained, it did not show the message but the name.
We have been investigating this and we have finally found a way to solve this error, “bug” or whatever you want to call it.
Do not show name in WhatsApp notifications:
The way we are going to explain how to proceed to get it is the one that appears at minute 3:22 of our next video:
Now, to hide both the sender's name and the text of the message, we must do the following:
- Access the settings of WhatsApp and within the “Notifications” menu deactivate the “Preview” option.
- After that, we will go to Settings/Notifications/WhatsApp on our iPhone and in the “Show previews” option we will choose the “Never” option.
- Now, after making these two adjustments, we will have to reboot the iPhone.
Once the mobile restarts, when receiving a message, no data will appear. A notification will simply appear as shown in the image that appears at the top of this tutorial.
Also works for push notifications. The information that we see in the photo that we show at the beginning of this post will appear on the strips.
Without further ado and hoping to have helped you, we look forward to seeing you in our next article.
Greetings.
