Business in the world of applications has changed over the years. In the beginning, you paid a price for an app that allowed you to use all its functions, tools, etc. Now everything has changed. That is specified in the fine print of the contract and very few people realize it until they see the payment in their bank account.
If you're not very attentive when using this type of application, you can end up subscribing to a monthly or weekly payment, without realizing it. That is why you always have to be careful because when you least expect it, an unexpected charge arrives to your bank account.
Double confirmation to subscribe to a service or application:
Apple has noticed that many developers profit from people who inadvertently or by mistake subscribe to services they don't want to pay for.
That is why an additional confirmation will now be requested to make sure that you really want to subscribe to a service or app.
Double step to confirm a subscription on iOS
As you can see in the image above, the Twitter user @drbarnard shows us an image of what the additional confirmation to the subscription is. This will appear whenever you agree to access an app's subscription. A double confirmation to let you know that you are going to subscribe knowing what you are doing.
The text that we can read under the notice is the following "The subscription will continue unless you cancel it from Settings at least the day before the subscription period ends" .
This way Apple will protect the user from subscription scammers who take advantage of the user by activating subscriptions without their knowledge.
