The first thing to do to be able to access our computer from our iPhone or iPad is to download the application for Mac. To do this, all you have to do is follow the instructions that appear on the screen of our iPhone.

Once this is done, if the devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, we can see all the folders and files on our Macs on our iPhone or iPad And not just one of them. If we have more than one Mac we can see the files of all of them.
To see them we will have to press the icon with three lines in the upper left and, under "Uploads and Downloads", we will see all our Mac devices. By clicking on any of them we can access their files and start exploring them.
What makes this application great is that, in addition to browsing the files, we can move them between devices. In other words, for example, we can add files that we have in the application to our Macs (photos from the camera roll, for example).
Some files on the Mac
We can also download files from Macs to our iPhone and they will be stored in the folders we have created in the app Remote Drive. All this using the Upload and Download icons that we can find in the application.
This application is very useful, for example, if we want to transfer files between two Macs quickly and only using our iPhone. We recommend it.
