WhatsApp Stickers
Since last November 15 it is almost impossible for us to download third-party Stickers for WhatsApp.
We were among the first media outlets to warn of the disappearance of the Stickers apps for WhatsApp and, since that day, we haven't heard from them again. They are still missing.
At first we didn't believe the disappearance of those applications. We couldn't find the reason but, after a few days of investigating, we found out what the cause was. This is, neither more nor less, the iron control that Apple exercises over the App Store, over intellectual property.
We hope that third-party Stickers will be available again in the App Store in the future:
In the following video we talk about how to download Stickers apps on WhatsApp:
In it you can see how we had access to the applications that provided us with this type of stickers. It was very simple. In addition, we leave you a link in which we named 10 Stickers applications. If you access it, you will see that only two apps remain operational.
Now, for the moment, apart from the native ones of WhatsApp, we can only use those that we downloaded before the disappearance of the apps. We hope that many of you will install all the apps that we name. If so, you are in luck as you will still have them available.
If you didn't, all you have to do is capture the ones that come to you through conversations. Many of us will have friends with Android who can be a great source of these types of images.
To capture them and be able to use them, you must click on the Sticker , which you do not have in your catalog, and you must select the option “add to favorites”. This will allow you to use it as many times as you want from the favorites gallery that WhatsApp includes within the Stickers selection box.
For the rest we have to wait for the developers of this type of apps to overcome the control of Apple, in terms of intellectual property.
Possibly those of Tim Cook, are anticipating the resolution of article 13 in Europe. An article that, if approved, would change the internet forever. We advise you to join the Saveyourinternet movement, to prevent that from happening.
