Spotify App for Apple Watch
Some Reddit users have access to the Beta in which Spotify allows you to download the app on the Apple Watch. This is really great news for people who, like us, use Spotify and have a bitten apple watch.
Very little is known about it but the simple fact that a Beta appears in which the AW (Apple Watch) is supported is already great news.
What is currently known about the Spotify app for Apple Watch:
Obviously this does not guarantee that it will come true in the future. They are in the testing phase and it may be that, if the use of the Streaming music service on the watch does not take hold, they will not launch it publicly. But, obviously, we all hope that this is not the case and that they do publish it in the future.
Spotify Beta
The Spotify app in Beta is adapted only to Apple Watch 38 and 42mm. This means that in the Series 4 it would look somewhat small. But come on, it's a BETA and I'm sure that if it goes ahead, they'll adapt it to all screen sizes.
It's still early to know if it will be possible to download songs directly to the watch. If this were possible, we could listen to them without any type of connection. Can you imagine playing sports with a Series 3 and listening to your Spotify playlists without taking the iPhone with you?That would be GREAT!!!.
It is becoming increasingly clear that using the watch without relying on a iPhone nearby is the way to go.
Many apps stopped supporting the Apple clock because they didn't see a future for that device and, after LTE was added to the latest models, many are launching applications again for Apple Watch, seeing the potential of the new AW .
In the meantime, we'll wait for this Beta of Spotify for Apple Watch to come true.
