Apple Watch Series 4 problems with WatchOS 5.1
According to the news portal MacRumors , many owners of the latest Apple watch are having problems installing the latest version of their WatchOS operating system .
Affected are seeing their watches get stuck on the Apple logo loading screen after starting the update to WatchOS 5 .1.
Not all owners of an Apple Watch series 4 have had this happen, but it's wise to take action. We do not advise you to update, for now, until something more is known about it.
During the update process to WatchOS 5.1, it leaves the watch locked for hours:
Some customers who contacted Apple were initially told that the update could take a few hours. Several people have not seen any progress after three or more hours of updating.
Some MacRumors readers have said that Apple will send replacement watches to those affected.
As a precautionary measure, we advise you to suspend the download and installation of the software until a solution is applied by Apple. Apple hasn't pulled the watchOS 5 .1 update yet, so it seems few were affected.
Apple just pulled the download of WatchOS 5.1, has fixed the bug.
The new update of the Apple watch adds new spheres and also brings these new features:
- Apple Watch Series 4 automatically contacts emergency services if you remain motionless for about a minute after detecting a hard fall. The watch will also play a message informing the emergency service that a fall has been detected and will share the location coordinates when possible.
