The WhatsApp arrives
For a few months the rumor that it would reach the most used messaging app on the planet was getting stronger. In fact, for the month of May, we already told you that tests were being carried out to implement in WhatsApp.
Now it's made official. Luca Colombo, national director of Facebook Italy, commented at the Digital Summit in Capri that "Instant messaging is the new frontier for doing business." Clearer water.
Also, the Twitter account Wabetainfo already mentioned it in one of their tweets. (We remember that this Twitter profile previews everything that will come to WhatsApp in the future) :

When will we start to see it and what will WhatsApp's arrival be like?:
Luca Colombo announced that by the first quarter of 2019 the first announcements could arrive. They will do it through the Estados , those ephemeral stories in the most Instagram Stories style.
That's why, at first, it seems that they won't be very intrusive. They will not affect private and group conversations. A relief to know this. Now the issue is whether it will always be like this or, in the medium/long term, we will see in the chats, too.
We don't want to be flattering but, based on the news linked at the beginning of this article, everything indicates that the implementation of the to WhatsApp will be like this. They will start with the States and end in the chats.
We'll see what happens. They want to make the most of the more than 1.5 billion users who use WhatsApp on a monthly basis and they will.
We remember that, in its beginnings, the app was paid. It happened to be free and who knows if, in the future, they offer some kind of in-app purchase.
