How much usage time does an iPhone have
Our iOS devices have an information section called “Usage Time” that is sure to give you food for thought. We do not know what we really use the mobile to day until you see it with your own eyes. The statistics are really scary.
The truth is that many people will not be interested in consulting this info. It will even annoy them to have that “time bomb” on their devices. We love it.
In fact, we just set Screen Time, to set limits and try to use the iPhone less.
How to interpret the data provided by the iPhone and iPad "Time of Use" function:
Entering Settings/Use time, we access this information.
Use time function
The data that appears on the screen is very brief. To go deeper into them, click on the name of your device. In this case we would click where it says "iPhone".
To view screen time across all your iOS devices under one Apple ID, turn on Sharing Across Devices. To access the time of use information of the members of a family, go to their settings at the bottom of the screen. This last option is VERY INTERESTING to find out how children use their devices.
By clicking on “iPhone”, we access all the detailed information.
iPhone Screen Time
In the bar graph we can see, hour by hour, the time we have used the mobile. By pressing and dragging your finger across the bars of the graph, you can check the total usage time that you have made in each hour. This information will appear in green.
Just below the graph we will see three categories, the most used by us, and the time we have invested in each of them.
Information, in detail, of the time we use the iOS device:
Going down the screen we will find much more information. We can show this by Apps or by categories:
- Most used apps: It will show us, from most to least, the applications we use the most and the time we have dedicated to it during the day. If we click on any of them, the information will be expanded.
- Device Queries: These are the times we have activated the iPhone to access it.If we click on the bars of the graph it will give us a detail of each hour. At the top of the graph we see the average number of queries, per hour, that we make of the terminal.
- Notifications: The number of notifications we have received that day appears. The graph, as in the previous cases, informs us by hour of them. Also, on the graph it tells us the total and the average per hour of notifications that we have had.
A more general view of mobile usage time:
To do this, at the top of the "Use time" menu, we can choose between "Today" and "The last 7 days" .
If we select the weekly period of time, the vision will be much more general and we will be able to draw many more conclusions than if we only value the usage time of a day.
And you, do you like this function of iOS?. We hope you tell us about it in the comments section of this article.
