Set iPhone to send last location
An interesting function that we mentioned in this new installment of our iOS tutorials. Sends the location of the iPhone when its battery is low, just before it turns off.
We recommend activating it if we want to know the location of a stolen or lost iPhone. In this way we will have a much clearer idea of the place where it is located. This option is disabled natively.
We are going to explain, step by step, how to carry out this simple process, in order to be calmer in the event that we run out of our iOS device.
How to send iPhone location before it turns off, automatically:
The first thing we have to do is go to the SETTINGS of the device.
Once there, click on the first option that appears in which we can see our name, profile image and under the name it will put “Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes Store”. We access and look for the tab «iCloud» , which we will press.
Within this menu, we go to the bottom, where we find a new tab, now with the name of “Find my iPhone”.
Go to FIND MY iPHONE
Here we find 2 new options, which we must activate, but the one that interests us today is the one that facilitates the location of the iPhone before it turns off. The last option of the two.
Activating it, the location of our device will be sent, automatically, just before turning off. When the battery is low.
Enables sending the last location of the iPhone
Now we will have it activated and whenever we have a low battery, it will automatically send the location to Apple. In this way, in case of loss, we will be able to know where our iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch is located.
And as we always tell you, if you found this information useful, don't forget to share it on your favorite social networks.
