"Remove unused apps" function on iPhone
We are going to talk in depth about this interesting function. It came to our terminals with iOS 11 and it is one of the options that we recommend everyone who has a device with a few Gb of storage to use.
Turn on Remove unused apps, makes the device analyze your use of apps. In this analysis iOS will remove apps you don't use. This will free up space.
But how do you delete them? That is what we are going to tell you in a new installment of tutorials for iOS.
This happens when you activate the function "Remove unused apps":
Remove unused apps
As you can see in the image above, if we activate this function we will free 1, 37 Gb of storage in our iPhone. It is not bad right?.
Based on the time you haven't used an app, our device will determine whether or not to delete it. If you delete it, the app will appear like this on our screen
Apps removed by the "Remove unused apps" function
As you can see, a cloud appears with a little arrow pointing down. This means that the Remove unused apps function has done its job. It has been removed due to little use.
When you do this, you'll delete the app itself, but not any data we've generated in it. This way when we reinstall it, we will have it back as we left it the last time we used it.
To reinstall it, you don't have to go to the App Store and download it again. We simply have to click on it and the download will begin. In a jiffy we will have it available again.
This way we can have all the apps we want on our app screen, regardless of whether we use it a lot or not. And this knowing that the function we are talking about today does its job. It allows you to have all the apps you want and will free up storage space when you think it's necessary.
Greetings and we hope you found this tutorial interesting.
