How Instagram IGTV works
We are talking about the app IGTV or Instagram TV. An app that wants to compete with Youtube in terms of vertical video format.
If you don't see the access button to IGTV,that appears in the upper right part of the Instagram app interface, update the application to its new version 50.0 . Once you do, you will see it where we have told you.
What is IGTV?:

It is an Instagram section in which we can share longer videos than in Stories. If you don't know, in stories we could only share videos of up to 15 seconds. Now on IGTV we can share videos of between 15 seconds and, depending on your degree of influence, it can range from 5 minutes to an hour.
Just click on this new function and, within it, click on our profile image, it will allow us to create our channel. Once the CREATE option is pressed, the following will appear:
How IGTV works
As you can see, it's very easy to understand. Create a channel and upload videos of between 15 seconds and 10 minutes (On our iPhone 6 it only lets us upload videos of up to 5 minutes) in which to tell what you want. Of course, they must be videos that you have on your reel. You can't upload videos directly like in Stories.
How does IGTV work?:
- We can upload videos of between 15 seconds, 10 minutes and an hour, depending on your influence.
- They must be videos that are on our camera roll.
- When uploading a video we can put a title and a description. In this description we can add links.
- We may allow these IGTV to be posted on Facebook. The option appears on the screen where we enter the title and description.
- The videos that we create and publish on IGTV will be stored in a link that will appear in our BIO.

Statistics
When we access IGTV we will see videos in different categories "For you" which will be videos that Instagram deduce that they may interest us, from the «People you follow», «Popular» and «Continue watching» videos that are videos that we have started to see and that we have not finished viewing in their entirety.We also have a search engine to find all kinds of channels.

Apparently IGTV will appear in chronological order, but it is something that is yet to be determined given the short time that this new feature has been available.
We can also link IGTV videos to our Stories.
