The iPhone camera is one of its strong points. The native application that manages it is fantastic for taking photos in automatic mode, but if something more is needed, it may fall a bit short. To do this, to fill these gaps, alternative camera apps emerged. The most recognized is Camera+, and now it has a successor.
CAMERA+ 2 IS THE NATURAL SUCCESSOR TO THE PREVIOUS APP BY THE SAME DEVELOPERS CAMERA+
The successor of that app is the second version of it, which comes much improved. For example, the app is now universal, working on both iPhone and iPadThe app still maintains manual controls so that professional photographers can get the expected results by changing the shutter balance and ISO, but they have been improved.
Different ways to take a photo in Camera+ 2
We also get improvements in the management of photograph information in order to edit it in the editor of the app, we have different shooting modes and it integrates better than its predecessor with the app Photos.
All these improvements are palpable when opening the application to take a photo. At the bottom, next to the fire button, we find the “+” icon. By pressing it we can choose between different shooting modes, such as Stabilizer, the Automatic mode or the Burst mode
The settings that the app allows us
We can also activate or deactivate different settings such as the grid, the geolocation or the RAW formatDepending on the options and the selected mode, we can choose other modes from the top of the screen such as Portrait, Wide Angle mode or Telephoto
In addition, as mentioned before, the app has its own editor. This, called Light table, is located in the icon of the two photos at the bottom and allows us to edit the photos taken with the app without the need for them to be in our gallery, although it also allows us to edit those in the gallery.
If you had the old version of Camera+ it might be time to replace it with this new and improved version. We leave you the link in the box below in case you want to download it.
