It seems that Snapchat has accepted that the new interface launched at the beginning of the year was a total failure There was a lot of controversy and many users of this social network complained about it to the point of requesting, through Change.org, the return to the old interface.
Finally, the app developers have bowed their heads and accepted "defeat".And it is that since they implemented the change, the ghost's social network did not raise its head. The leakage of users has been very high and it is that between the competition from Instagram Stories and the "shit" with the past redesign of the interface, they have left the platform very touched.
But it's never too late to change. And that is what they have done. The new interface brings a fresh feel and is sure to please everyone.
Now the question is, will all those people who left come back?
This is the new redesign of the Snapchat interface:
There are changes again on both the left and right sides.
Your friends' stories, subscriptions, and recommendations slide to the right:

As you can see in the image above, the change on the right side is considerable. Now, in that part, we can see :
- Friends: The stories published by our friends will appear. Friend is considered to be people who follow each other.
- Subscriptions: We will see the stories of people, celebrities, media that we follow but do not follow us.
- For you: Stories of celebrities, popular stories, media, filters that we do not follow but that the algorithm detects may interest us appear.
Again, and now more clearly, the subscriptions tab will reveal the people we follow and who don't follow us. Will the bad vibes generated with the previous interface change return?
Messages, groups and interesting new "Add" tab:
Left interface
In this left part, there are three tabs:
- Chat: In this tab we will access the private chats we have with other Snapchatters, whether we follow them or not. In addition, from that tab, we can see the stories of the people we follow, as we did before.
- Groups: Area where we can see the groups to which we belong.
- Add: In this new option we can see people we don't follow and who recommend us to follow and, also, the last people who have followed us. Also, from this new tab, if we hold down on the profiles of these Snapchatters, if they have posted public snaps and they are visible to everyone, we can see their stories without having to follow them.
Also, another great novelty is the ability to scan Snapcodes from the "add" tab. Now it is much easier to do it, since before the subject was somewhat convoluted.
