Apparently the roles have been reversed. It gives us the feeling that now Snapchat is behind Instagram in terms of news. It is now when the famous social network of the ghost copies the platform owned by Facebook.
And it is that since its change of interface and the anger of it, on the part of many users, has made the creators of this app get down to work. Through improvements, they want to attract the people who left and please those who are still there.
That is why it has implemented new improvements and many more are expected to arrive, some of them copied from Instagram. We will comment on them below:
Without updating Snapchat, lately, these news have appeared:
-
GIFs are available again:
Since they were removed due to the big Giphy blunder, they're finally available again. To access them simply record a snap, click on the icon that looks like a sticker and search in the search engine. That's when GIFs related to the word you put will appear (we recommend you search in English) .

Now we can reply or comment on any public Snap with an audio, bitmoji, text, snap:
Before it only allowed you to do it with text. Now we have many more options, as you can see in the image below. Also, when we comment on a Snap, the sound will stop being heard, which is appreciated. Before, it was very annoying having to listen to the audio over and over again while we were writing.

Change the color of all emoji at once:
If we enter the app settings and click on the "Manage" section, we have an option enabled where we can suddenly change the color of all the emoji. This is to be appreciated. We were sick of sharing them in yellow for not changing their skin color (out of laziness).

Share any part of the map:
When entering the Snap map, we can share the area we want. Focus or locate the area you want to share and hold the screen. By doing this, the following options will appear

New Story Tab:
It is one of the novelties that Snapchat has implemented to please the haters of its new interface. Now on the left side, we can separate messages from stories, although the "all" tab is still a bit of a mess and mixed messages and stories keep appearing.

New information on maps, about contacts:
Now on the maps, by clicking on a person we are following and who appears on it, we can access their stories, see if they have taken a trip, the route they have taken, etc. In addition, we can navigate through the locations of our contacts, sliding from right to left, or vice versa, the squares with their information that appear at the bottom of the screen.

Create filters and lenses:
New feature to create custom filters and lenses. They are paid but it is interesting to know that they are there to, for example, publicize something in a given area. To access them you must go to the app settings. There you will see the option “Filters and Lenses” .

News that will come when updating Snapchat, to next versions:
Supposedly they have to arrive shortly and they are very, very interesting:
-
We can add up to 16 friends to a videoconference in which everyone can participate simultaneously:
Shortly we will be able to video chat with up to 16 friends at the same time. We only have to touch the video camera icon, in a group Chat, to bring our friends together. They will receive a notification inviting them to join. In case more people want to join, this will become an audio conference capable of supporting up to 32 users at a time.

We can tag users in our Snap:
Function copied from Instagram that will allow us to name, through an «@», any Snapchat contact in our snaps. This will allow other people to add you, see your stories (if they are public), etc. A way to make Snapchaters known .

Hands-Free Recording Option:
A function that appeared briefly to users of this social network, such as Cainite62, and that would allow, when tapping to record a snap, slide your finger down to lock the record button and be able to record without having to press it. Another option copied from Instagram.
Now we just have to wait for all this to be implemented in what, for us, is the best social network that exists. Looking forward to new versions for update Snapchat.
If you want to follow us here we'll pass you our Snapcode. An account in which we tell things that we do not do in other social networks and in which you can see my day to day.
