And it is that last month, there was an important redesign in Snapchat that has ended up being extremely criticized. Even spawning a petition on Change.org, with over 1.2 million signatures, asking developers to go back to the app's old interface.

If we add to this the pressure that Facebook is exerting, it may be that the company feels much less sure about its future than ever before. Some concern is evident.
Despite the layoffs, the company has recently announced that it is projected that "the growth of the workforce will continue in the future." A recent revelation has revealed that there are currently around 3,000 workers who make up the Snapchat team (at the end of December).
If this is the case and the company is expected to grow in the number of workers, this wave of layoffs does not have to be bad. But we are afraid that things are not going in those directions.
