Monument Valley 2

The game Monument Valley marked a before and after as far as games from the App Store are concerned. The game, which marveled at its design, exploited perspective with levels reminiscent of Escher's drawings, making us have to rack our brains to complete the levels.

His second part continues to maintain that and also tells a little story. We will tell you about it below.

Although it doesn't play so much with perspective, Monument Valley 2 maintains the essence of its predecessor:

In this new game we will have to guide a mother and a daughter. The mother, named Ro, is teaching her daughter the mysteries of the valley and the "sacred geometry" of it, and they will have to progress through more than 10 levels.

As in the first of the games, the levels play with perspective. We will have to move different structures with mechanisms present in the levels so that the protagonists can advance.

In some of the levels, mother and daughter will go together, but in others they will separate. We'll have to get them back together, moving them separately and even having the daughter imitate Ro's moves.

Monument Valley 2 also tells a little story, referring to the valley and the "sacred geometry" that will be revealed as we progress through the levels and manage to overcome them, having a presence through different interludes that take place in some of the levels.

It's true that this second Monument Valley game doesn't exploit perspective as much, but it still maintains the essence of the first game with its colorful design and sounds, as well as the game mechanics.

If you liked the first game, we recommend you download it, both for the design and number of levels and for its story.
