The update to iOS 11.2, in addition to fixing some bugs and performance issues, introduced the new Apple Pay Cash.
This new feature was currently only available in the United States.
What is Apple Pay Cash?
For those of you who don't already know, Apple Pay Cash is a mobile payment system.
Users could send money to each other or to a bank through the Messaging application, native to iOS, or throughSiri.
At the moment, everything seemed to indicate that this service would only be available in the United States. And that perhaps over time, it would reach Spain and other countries.
But there are news that seem to indicate that Apple Pay Cash will arrive in Spain shortly.
How do we know that Apple Pay Cash will arrive in Spain shortly
At this time, we don't have official confirmation, but there are indications that it may be coming soon.
The clues are as follows:
- There is a new trademark registration filed by Apple at the European Intellectual Property office. Which indicates that it arrived earlier than expected.
- On the other hand, there are several users who through Twitter have revealed that they have the option activated. Among them, Manuel Arroyo iOS developer, as you can see below:

Calm down, nothing is confirmed
Despite the two indications mentioned above, Apple has not confirmed anything.
We don't know if it will be exclusive to the United States or if we will be able to enjoy this feature on our devices.
At the moment nothing has been seen in the iOS betas, so we may not see it in the much-rumored March Key Note and we will have to wait longer.
It's time to wait and be patient. Let's see if we really have a Key Note in March and Apple reveals something else to us, giving us some clue.
