Most photo editors on iOS are based on basic features. They offer the option to modify the saturation or contrast among other aspects, or to apply filters that mostly do similar things. Distressed FX photo editor differs from them by offering artistic filters. Thus, we can give an artistic touch to our photos.
THIS APP THAT EDITS YOUR PHOTOS ALSO HAS A SIMPLE EDITOR TO MODIFY THE CONTRAST, COLOR AND SATURATION OF THE FILTERS APPLIED
When opening Distressed FX we will see a test image. In it we can try all the filters we want. These are located just below the photograph and are 20 basic filters that alter colors and another 20 with different elements in them.
The main editing screen where we can see almost all the elements
The best way to try them is to choose one of the basic ones and add another one that includes elements. Any of them can be modified, giving it more or less color and opacity. We can also add a blurred effect by clicking on the drop icon. This way we can select an object so that it can be seen clearly and blur the rest, thus giving prominence to the object.
As the app logo indicates, the star effect is the birds. These are found on the raven icon. If we press it, we will see a total of 9 pre-installed bird filters, and we can add any of them, modifying their size and opacity to better suit the photo.
The different effects of birds
Distressed FX offers different packs of filters that we can purchase. We will find these by clicking on More at the end of the filters that we have installed and we can purchase them in batches such as "Sky" or "Lights".
If you are bored of always giving the same style to your photos, we recommend you try it, since many of the effects obtained are great.
