This is a novelty that we already told you about Instagram that allows you to create stories without using any photos or videos.
It's a new style that allows us to be more creative and express ourselves in a different way than we were used to.
What are Text Only Stories?
Until now we were only allowed to add text to the photos we uploaded.
Text-only Stories are here
Instagram has decided to take this initiative a step further, as it has done on Facebook and WhatsApp.
In this way, it will allow you to create stories without the need for a photograph or video. A new way of expressing what we are thinking.
In this new functionality, the application will automatically adapt the size of the text and you will be able to choose between four different styles, for now:
- Modern
- Neon
- Typewriter
- Bold
The different styles include a button at the bottom left to change the color of the background.
How can we use it?
It's extremely easy to use text-only Stories.
Just enter the Instagram stories and slide the bottom menu, the one below the record button, from left to right, until you reach the end.
We will see an option called “Lyrics”, next to live. If you click, a colored background will appear and in the center the phrase “Write something”
Text mode in Instagram Stories
By clicking on the sentence the keyboard will appear and you will be able to write. As we have said before, we can also change the background color and, in addition, create one with an image after the chosen background color (by clicking on the camera button that appears).
Once the phrase is written, click on the ">" icon at the bottom center of the screen.
We can add icons and stickers to this composition, write freehand or add more text, as if it were a photo.
Anything else?
In addition to this curious novelty that allows us to be more imaginative and share Text-only Stories, there is another novelty that is so pleasant now we will have between one story and another.
So far we only saw one sponsored story, and now the number will go up to 3.
In this way, Instagram gets more profitability from .
Less fun than text-only Stories, right?
