A few days ago the Cupertino company released the update for all users, WatchOS 4.2.2.

But Apple is still working on updates, and has released the first beta of WatchOS 4.3 for developers.

This beta doesn't seem like a big update at the moment, we'll explain everything below.

What's new in the WatchOS 4.3 beta?

This is not a huge update, but it brings with it some new features that deserve to be highlighted.

Music playback control returns:

MacRumors has shown a video showing the return of the music control function of the iPhone since the Apple Watch.

It seems that we can access the lists and songs of our iPhone from our Apple Watch. And control playback. All this from a new section called “The iPhone”.

Music Player on Apple Watch

This information we did not have before. Since we could only access the charts, songs and artists when a song was played on our watch.

A feature that was sadly gone with version 4 of the operating system. Which removed the ability to control the music library with the Apple Watch.

We're glad this functionality is back, it was working great. When you play sports or when you have iPhone in your pocket, it is more convenient to manage playback from the watch. You have it more at hand, never better said.

Siri tells us about our activity:

So far, we must wait to receive a notification when we are about to complete a ring. Or, use a sphere showing the rings to see how we are doing.

Or by accessing the application designed for it.

Well, with WatchOS 4.3 it won't be necessary to wait, Siri will tell us how our rings are.

Table clock and charging:

Table Clock

With the new update we can place our Apple Watch vertically or horizontally. And in both positions the table clock will be displayed.

Something highly anticipated, as many watch chargers are with vertical position, and we could not enjoy this feature.

In addition, with the new version of the operating system when loading our clock an animation will appear. This will show the current charge level. So it will be easier to know the battery level of Apple Watch.

Only small improvements:

If all this is true, they are not big changes, just small improvements.

Some of them long awaited.

It's only the first Beta anyway. We'll see how it evolves and if they add any more functionality.

What would you like to see in the next update of WatchOS?
