Pixelate an image with the iPhone
It has happened to many of us that we take a photo and for some reason something is seen that we do not want to be seen, a solution could be to cut out the part that we do not want to be seen. But this solution may not always be the best, because we will not always be able to crop a photo. There are apps that allow you to pixelate. For example, in WhatsApp you can pixelate photos directly.
But if you don't want to share the image through that messaging app, we'll teach you how to pixelate a specific area of our image with a good pp.In this way, we will not have to retouch the image or cut anything, we will only pixelate the specific area and that's it (we can also more than one). For this we will use the app Skitch
IMPORTANT: Since Skitch is somewhat outdated, we encourage you to pixelate parts of a photo with this great pixel app. The one we name in this post is still available in the App Store but has not been updated since 2015.
How to pixelate an image with the iPhone and iPad:
The first thing we have to do is open Skitch and choose, or capture, the photo we want to pixelate. Once we have it open, if it is a photograph of the reel we see how in the lower right part there is a small arrow. We will have to click on that arrow to display the menu. If it is a photo taken from the app itself, for that option to appear we have to click on “more tools”. This will show us.
Click on that option
Once we click on the arrow, the menu will be displayed in which all the options and elements that we can use in our photo will appear. What interests us right now is the option to pixelate. Therefore, we click on this option, which appears precisely the first one (at the top).
We choose PIXELAR
We in our image are going to pixelate the part of the jam. To do it on a specific area, you just have to select the area you want (a square appears to select). We have selected the “fn” and “ctrl” keys in our photo.
Click and drag to frame
When we have finished pixelating the area, we go to the upper right part of the screen, where the "typical" share arrow appears. You just have to click there to save our photo.
Save to spool
And in this way we can pixelate an image with the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, and forget about cropping a specific area. In this way we will do it much faster and without complications.
