To do this, we need to have a Mac . We are sorry to say that this process can only be done from the Mac and not from a PC. To do it from a PC, shortly we will make a specific tutorial for it.
So, from the Mac, we go to the “Photos” app and open it. Once we have it open, all the available tabs will appear at the top (File, Edition, Visualization). We must click on the "Photos" tab ,which has the same name as the app we have open.
We will now see a small menu in which we must click on the "Preferences" tab. We get the window that we must modify to save our photos automatically on the Mac.To do this, we must have the option “iCloud Photo Library” activated and the option “Download originals to this Mac” selected.
Check the box to auto save photos
Once this is done, our photos will be saved on the Mac and we won't have to wait for them to download before we can save them to an external hard drive or wherever we want.
It may be that if you have a lot of photos on your roll, once you activate the option that we mentioned, it takes a lot of time downloading photos. But that will only do it the first time you turn on "Download originals on this Mac". Once you download all of them, the new photos you take will be downloaded to your computer automatically.
In this simple way we forget about the tedious process of downloading photos from iCloud .
