We all know that the Japanese company for several years refused to release games for smartphones.
But, after releasing Pokémon Go and Animal Crossing and having a good reception, Nintendois preparing for the release of Mario Kart Tour.
The same company has been the one that has leaked the work they are doing through their official accounts on social networks. They have even revealed the expected release date.
We think the game will be completely new and not an adaptation of Mario Kart from handheld consoles.
Just need to know the price. It might be something like Super Mario Run, which costs €9.99 to play the full game.
Price that for many users seems excessive.
What was the first Mario Kart like?
This game first appeared on the Super Nintendo console in the early 90's and was very successful. So much so that it was updated and appeared on other consoles of the brand.
It had 4 different modalities:
- Grand Prix
- Time Trial
- Vs
- Battle
One of the best parts of the game is the multiplayer option as you can interact with your teammates.
The truth is that in their statement they didn't specify if they would launch it only on iOS or if they would also do it on other platforms. Anyway, considering the good relationship between Apple and Nintendo, we think that the release of Mario Kart Tour is almost confirmed for iOS .
But we will have to wait until February or March 2019. Patience!
