One of the struggles of Apple is to make the battery life of its devices as durable as possible. Also, another of its open fronts is the fast charging of its devices.
Fast charging, enabled in iOS 11.2, is nothing more than charging the iPhone,to 100%, as fast as possible .
As a result of this, wireless charging has emerged on iPhone and, for sure, in the future, it will appear on iPad. But do not think that this will help charge your mobile faster. Look at this.
Time it takes each charger to charge an iPhone:
A study has been done on how long it takes to charge an iPhone X with different types of chargers. You can see it in the image above.
Beginning by detailing that WIRELESS is wireless charging and WIRED is wired charging, you can see the charge percentage of a device iOS, after connecting it and passing 15, 30 and 60 minutes.
As you can see, at more power, the iPhone will always charge earlier.
The cable charger that comes in the mobile box charges the battery somewhat faster than the wireless one. At the same power (5W) we see, that in the same time, it charges 1% more than the Wireless charger, after 30 minutes of charging.
The Wireless chargers that Apple sells on its website are the Belkin 5W and 7, 5W . Both charging stands are the big losers when faced with the 12W wired charger that comes with, for example, the new iPad.
That is why the fastest way to charge an iPhone is with the power adapter for the bitten apple tablets. If you have a charger from an old iPad these are 10W, but I'm sure they'll also charge your phone faster. You can see the power of your charger at the bottom of it.
TIP: Don't abuse charging your iPhone with the iPad charger.
The wireless charger takes longer to charge the smartphone, but it is true that it is much more comfortable, especially if we have it installed in the place where you normally leave your mobile when you get home.
Which do you prefer comfort or speed? We await your answers.
