There are more and more banks that offer us applications to access our account quickly and easily from our smartphone. There are also a multitude of apps to control our expenses and our bank movements and Coinkeeper falls into this last category.
THIS APP TO CONTROL EXPENSES DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO OUR BANK ACCOUNTS
The first thing to say is that, unlike other applications to control expenses, Coinkeeper does not have access to our bank accountsThis may be inconvenient for some, but it is precisely what distinguishes the app, since it allows us to carry out manual control without having to give it access to our bank accounts.
The way to add an expense category
On the main screen of the app we will see, in yellow, the sources of money, such as the wallet or checking account, and in green the possible categories of expenses. Both the sources of money and the categories of expenses can be modified, adding new ones, deleting some or modifying their name.
To add income, all we have to do is click on the sources of money and click edit. For its part, generating an expense is much easier, since we will only have to drag one of the sources of money to one of the expense categories and add its amount.
Thus, once we have added expenses, if we click on the icon with three lines on the left and click on flow we can see all the income and expenses that have been generated in a certain period of time, controlling our expenses.

Coinkeeper is completely free to download and use, but it gives us the option to purchase a subscription to get the Premium version that unlocks all features, such as budget planners, statistics for any period or synchronization in the cloud among others.
