This feature is protected by end-to-end encryption and allows you to control who you want to share it with and for how long.You can also stop sharing at any time or wait for the timer to expire.
Privacy lovers like us have nothing to fear. It is an option that you can activate or not, as you wish. Therefore it is a purely personal decision, to use it or not.
It's very similar to what we can do with the "Find Friends" app on iOS. What's the difference? That we can use to share our position in real time, with friends who have iOS,Android and other operating systems.

That's how it works. Open a chat with the person or group you want to share it with, tap the attach button and select “Location”.You will see a new option to share your “Real Time Location”. Select the duration and tap Send. Each chat participant will be able to see your location in real time on a map. If more than one person is sharing their Live Location, you will be able to see all locations on the same map.
