Today we are going to teach you how to activate the DO NOT DISTURB WHEN DRIVING mode on the iPhone , so that when we are in the car nobody bothers us or we receive notifications.
Apple integrated into this latest version of iOS, a really interesting option focused mainly on the car. But to activate it, we will not have to buy anything or activate anything from third parties, that is, everything is already installed in iOS 11. With this function, once it is activated, we will not receive notifications or calls, so we will be focused on driving.
In addition, we have the option to send an automated message to those people who have contacted us.
HOW TO ACTIVATE THE DO NOT DISTURB MODE WHEN DRIVING THE IPHONE
This function is included in the “Do Not Disturb” section of the iPhone and which we have already told you about on more than one occasion. Well, now with iOS 11 it goes a step further and gives us the possibility to activate it when we are driving.
To do this we go to the device settings and look for the “Do Not Disturb” tab. Here we will see this new menu that we have told you about and also a new section that is located right at the bottom of this menu.

To activate this function, simply click on this tab and choose the option that interests us the most. We can choose between 3 variants:
- Automatically: The iPhone will detect when there is movement (to do this you must have location activated) and this mode will activate itself.
- When connecting to the car's Bluetooth: Once we connect to the car's Bluetooth, this function will activate itself.
- Manually: We activate this function whenever we want from the control center.
But everything does not end here, since we can select the contacts to whom we want to send that automatic response that we have told you about.

And finally, we have the option to modify the automatic message that we are going to send. To do this, click on the last tab of this section, which is "Automatic response" and modify the message. By default comes this
