iOS 10 brought us the ability to “delete” native apps from the operating system. Since then, many of us have looked for alternatives to these apps. We already talked about alternatives to the Notes and Contacts app, and today it's the turn of Voice Notes.
MY REC IS AN EFFECTIVE ALTERNATIVE TO THE VOICE NOTES APP OF OUR IPHONE
Although it is a simple app that fulfills its mission, it may not be enough for various reasons. That is why we bring you My Rec which, in addition to doing the same as Voice Notes, includes some of the most useful functions.
The interface of the app couldn't be simpler. As soon as we open it, we will find the recording button in the center of the screen and, around it, two colored semicircles. These semicircles will fill up depending on the volume that our mobile device captures.

The functions that make the app really worthwhile are two. The possibility of choosing the format of the recording and the possibility of choosing its frequency. To select them we will have to look at the top of the record button.
There we will find the two options, being able to choose between the M4A, CAF and WAV formats. We will also see that it gives us a choice of 3 frequencies, 8 kHz, 24 kHz and 44kHz. This can be very useful for those who need more than what the Voice Notes app offers.
We can start or stop recording using 3D Touch
To end the recording, you must first pause it. To do this, you just have to press the record button again and press the Stop icon. This will allow us to name the recording and save it within the app.
To find all our recordings we will have to click on the icon that has three lines. From the new screen we can see and delete the recordings, and from the playback menu we can share them by different means.
If you were looking for an alternative to the native Voice Notes app, My Rec might be what you need. That's why we recommend you try this GREAT APP OF VOICE NOTES.
