The new version 10.9.0.0 of Snapchat,brings with it two new features. One of them more interesting and important than the other.
What seems to be is that the developers of the ghost's social network have taken a step forward and want to start marking distances and differences, with the copy that has suffered from Instagram Stories .
Remember that recently Instagram Stories added the famous lenses to its interface. This makes it a total copy of Snapchat.
Before, people used Snapchat to create videos with the famous puppy filters, rainbow vomit and many more, to upload later to their Instagram stories . Now they already have that functionality in the app itself, so it is not necessary for them to use the ghost app.
History repeats itself again. Snapchat innovates and we'll see how long it takes Instagram to copy this functionality.
GROUP STORIES AND BITMOJI IN PERSONAL SNAPCODES:
These have been the two novelties that the latest update brings.
Honestly, as Snapchat users we don't know the impact these new features will have. But we can tell you that many other things can be improved before adding these functions that, a priori, give us a little the same.
But it is true that group stories can give a little more play on this social network.
Group Stories:
To create a group story we must click, within the STORIES screen, on the new button that appears in the upper right part.

Clicking on it will lead us to a menu where, after naming the story, we can choose the people we want to participate and see it.

We can choose them by GEOCERCA or select them manually from the option "Who can collaborate?" and "Who can see?":

With this we can create, for example, a collaborative story with 1 friend and that 30 friends can see, do you understand?
A new option that you can get a lot of juice out of, especially with the GEOCERCA option. This will allow you to create stories at events, parties, meetings and make yourself known to friends of our friends, even if they don't follow us.
Snapcodes with bitmoji:
This is another novelty of this new version.
It was not liked very much because many users will no longer be able to see the real photos of many Snapchaters. Now, if you have your bitmoji active,the face of your "virtual self" will appear.
In addition, we can change it according to our mood. Accessing the Settings screen and pressing the "Edit bitmoji" option, a menu will appear in which we can change our Bitmoji Selfie.

This will add a touch of distinction, whenever we want, to our snapcode.
If you want to continue showing your photo, as it was done before, you just have to unlink your Bitmoji from Snapchat. We warn you that this will also prevent you from sharing your “other you”, in private conversations or being able to add them to your Snaps.
