It hasn't been a week since iOS 10.3 came out and Apple just released a new software update for our iPhone, iPad and iPod TOUCH.
It's a minor update that, as it reads in its description, fixes some bugs and improves the security of our iPhone and iPad.
There are few megabytes and it can be updated via OTA (without the need to connect the phone to iTunes). The only thing we must have is more than 50% battery in our device and a WIFI connection, so as not to use up mobile data.They are few megabytes, but we recommend that you always do these updates, with a WIFI connection.
UPDATE IOS 10.3.1 ON IPHONE 5 and IPHONE 5C:
Apparently this may be the last version iOS that accepts our iPhone 5 and iPhone 5cThere is talk that 32-bit devices will become obsolete. The upcoming version iOS 10.3.2, in its BETA phase, no longer includes iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c among the devices compatible with this update coming soon to iOS.
We remember that the iPhone 5 went on sale in September 2012. It has been working at full capacity for 5 years and many people still have it given its good performance, after so many years of use.
The iPhone 5C has been on the market for less time (September 2013) , but since it has a 32-bit processor, it will suffer collateral damage.
This means that, supposedly, they won't be able to update anymore. This does not mean that they stop working. The only thing that will happen is that if some apps need iOS 10.3.2 or higher, to work, they won't be able to run on those devices with iOS anymore old.
HOW TO UPDATE IPHONE 5 AND 5C TO IOS 10.3.1:
Surely if you have an iPhone 5 or 5C, the new version will not appear 10.3or 10.3.1 to update. To be able to do it you must connect your terminal to iTunes, in your computer. There it will notify you that you have a new version iOS to download.
We're notifying you because many people have told us that they can't install this new iOS.
By doing it as we explained, you can update your devices to what, for now, is the latest version iOS.
