NEW IOS 10.3 FILE SYSTEM:
Apple will introduce a new file system that will replace the system our phone currently uses.All of our files will need to be converted to the new format. The new file system could make our devices run smoother and much better. It will probably take up less space than the current version. This will free up storage space, which is a great benefit for people who are constantly receiving notifications that their device is out of storage space.
iOS 10.3 NOTIFIES US ABOUT THE APPS THAT WILL NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH iOS 11:
It is rumored that iOS 11 will remove many apps when it is released later this year. Current estimates say that about 200,000 apps will not be compatible with this new iOS.
The latest public beta of iOS 10.3, contains an "application compatibility" menu. It identifies which of your apps won't work with iOS 11 and tells app developers what fixes they need to make to make it compatible with the future iOS
But not only iOS 10.3 will let us know this. The current version 10.2.1 also tells us this. If we open an app and we get a warning that that app could slow down our device, this means that app will not be compatible in the future iOS 11
This is why we must take action. If you have a lot of apps giving you the compatibility warning now, you should find alternatives. There is no guarantee that developers will update these apps to work with iOS 11 later this year.
Also, when buying and installing apps, take a look at when they were last updated. If it was a couple of years ago, think twice before buying or downloading. They may not work when the iOS 11 appears.
