The game, which has been renamed Pavilion Mobile or Pavilion Touch Edition for macOS and iOS and has already seen the light of day on other platforms, is part of the category of puzzle or puzzle but it is not at all what we are used to in this category.
Pavilion falls within puzzle games, in what the creators call fourth person. This is so because it is not even first person since it does not give the feeling that we are the ones playing, nor do we see the player as in third-person games, but rather we see the player from afar.
BOTH THE HAND-DRAWN LEVELS AND THE SOUNDTRACK MAKE PAVILION MOBILE A MUST HAVE GAME
In addition to seeing him in the distance, we will have to guide him through environments and landscapes that the creators call dreamlike that certainly, due to their fanciful air, are reminiscent of dreams, and this is where the game becomes the real thing puzzle since we will have to guide our mysterious companion without interacting with him.
In order for the mysterious character to move forward, we will have to place obstacles so that he can go where we want him to go, as well as move said obstacles in case he has to go through the same place several times, make him step on certain objects or use the bells found throughout the game screens to show you the way.
If we can't get him to go where we want, we don't have to worry, since the character will take shelter in one of the many bonfires and we can always rearrange the level and call him using the aforementioned bells.
If you are fans of this type of games, Pavilion is designed for you, since in addition to having levels that are quite complicated to solve, it has fantastic aesthetics thanks to its landscapes created by hand and its fantastic soundtrack.
