March is here and rumors about new iOS devices are skyrocketing. A new Keynote is planned for this month announcing the new iPads and possibly a new version of the iPhone SE.
But the new version is not expected to bring a physical improvement. "Only" it is rumored that a new iPhone SE with greater storage capacity will appear. There is talk that a 128 Gb SE will arrive.
Until now, the "cheap" iPhone model was offered with capacities of 16 and 64 Gb. Now it seems that its maximum storage is going to double.
WHERE DOES THE RUMOR COME FROM THAT A 128 GB IPHONE WILL APPEAR?
Everything has come upon the news that the TARGET store, has started removing the iPhone SE from stock.
According to MacRumors, the commercial chain has ordered to return all the stock of SE of 16 and 64 Gb in its different finishes.
You may think that this withdrawal of devices from their stores may be due to poor sales. But doing it before a possible Keynote from Apple, has caused this rumor to go off.
Ming-Chi Kuo , an analyst at KGI, predicted that a physical upgrade to the iPhone SE is highly unlikely, but he didn't see a bad upgrade in storage capacity.
Our opinion on a possible 128GB SE:
We think the supposed new model will bring many more improvements.
The possible iPhone SE 128 Gb, can bring news like the new Home button that the iPhone 7 has, be resistant overboard and removal of port Jack.
What need does the iPhone SE need to update only the capacity of the device? We do not see the need to improve only the storage space.
But since we are in the field of rumor mills, anything can happen even if Apple does not present anything about it and bases all its efforts on releasing a new iPhone 8 or X.
We'll be looking forward to what happens this month and will keep you posted.
Greetings.
