Rumours were getting louder about the imminent arrival of the new function WhatsApp statuses. A novelty that many will not understand and that we are going to try to explain to leave clear what they are for.
It is clear that Whatsapp statuses has been implemented, in the application, given the upcoming IPO of Snapchat. A movement strategic that Mark Zuckerberg has done to harm the ghost's social network. WHAT ARE WHATSAPP STATES?
This new function can be found on the left side of the bottom menu of the app.
They are ephemeral videos that we can share with whoever we want, and that only last 24 hours. After this time, the video, photo, composition, drawing will disappear and will no longer be available.
We can add as many as we want and create stories like we can do in Snapchat, Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories.
On the STATUS screen we can see all the statuses that have been shared with us by the contacts who wanted to make us part of said content.

Whastapp States replaces the famous states that we all wrote and that appeared under our name. This seems to be not liked very much, although in the end we will all adapt.
HOW DO WHATSAPP STATES WORK?
It's very simple.
The first thing we have to do and keep VERY IN MIND, is who we are going to share our states with.
It is very important that when entering the new menu «STATES«, we click on PRIVACY and select the people we want to make reach our states. If you do not, you will share it with all your contacts. Surely there will be many to whom you do not want to send this type of videos, compositions, photos. Can you imagine that on a party night you post a compromising video that all your family and friends can see?
After configuring privacy, all we have to do is click on the button that appears at the top right of the screen to start recording this type of content.
We keep the record button pressed (you can only share up to 45 seconds), or we add any photo or video from the reel, and after that we can edit it in the same way that we discuss in this article.
Then we publish and the selected contacts will be able to see it. After 24h, this content will disappear.
WHERE ARE THE APP CONTACTS?
Important question, since we all used this menu to see the photo changes that our friends and family made right?.
Well, now, in order to see the contacts of Whatsapp, we must go to "CHATS", create a new chat by clicking on the button that appears at the top right and it is so when we can see the photos of all our contacts of Whatsapp.
