It seems that the creators of Facebook don't want us to leave their app at all and, therefore, they are going to implement second-hand shopping on the social network. It will be a terrible competition to platforms like Wallapop, Ebay, Segundamano
It is going to be called Marketplace and, at the moment, it is being tested in 4 countries. These are US, UK, Australia and New Zealand .
If everything goes well, in the future we will have it available in our country and we will be able to sell anything we don't need, in the easiest and simplest way.Obviously it can be sold to everyone, but one thing we like is that our friends, family, colleagues will find out, if we want, what we are going to sell.
How many times have we sold something and a relative has come to us telling us that he would have liked us to have warned him? A few of us.
SO WE CAN BUY ON FACEBOOK, WITH MARKETPLACE:
As you can see in the previous photo, we will have a specific button for this new "section" of Facebook. We can see this in the lower menu of the screen. From it we can access a whole world of second-hand or first-hand products.
The interface is very visual and only shows us the photo of the item and its highlighted price in green.
Marketplace will use our location to display the products for sale. It seems that the closest products will appear at the top of the listings. Contacts close to us, based on friends and acquaintances, will also appear first.
All products can be filtered by categories, price so that we can easily search for an item that we are interested in buying.
The communication between the seller and the buyer will be carried out through the Facebook messaging app.
The truth is that this new shopping function on Facebook, looks very good. We are looking forward to it coming to our country.
