It's true that few people use iMessage. The fact that it is only compatible with iOS, devices greatly diminishes the fact that iPhone and iPad users use it at daily.
Personally, I use it every day with the family, especially with my wife. Almost everyone in the family has iPhone This way I know if I get an iMessage, it's from a family member. I use it to filter so that they don't get mixed up with the notifications that come to me, for example, on WhatsApp.
It's a good idea to use this native iOS app. It works very well and also in the future it will implement great features in iOS 10.
In iMessage I usually send spoken messages and I found a curiosity regarding this type of messages.
CURIOUS AND SIMPLE OPTION IN iMESSAGE TALKED MESSAGES:
When you send a spoken message, the recipient of the message can listen to it using the Raise to listen function or simply by clicking the play button.
If you usually listen to the messages by pressing the "play" button, you will know that the audio is heard through the phone's speaker. We all know that there are times when we need to keep quiet or not attract much attention. In such situations, hitting the spoken message to play is not recommended.
And what do we do in those cases if we want to hear a message? In this type of situation, and if you do not use the "Raise to listen" function, you must press the icon characterized with a loudspeaker, which appears to the right of the message.
If when pressed it appears in gray, you can press play and it will not be heard through the speaker. It will be heard through the earpiece we use to listen when we make a phone call. So you should bring your phone to your ear, as if you were talking on the phone, to listen to the message privately
If the icon appears in blue, it will be heard through the speaker at full volume.
A curious function that we wanted to share with you and that we hope you found interesting.
