BitTorrent is an app for both Windows and Macau that most of you will know and that allows you to download third-party content, sometimes of dubious legality, and the official BitTorrent app has made the leap to iOS with the name of BitTorrent Now.
The first thing we must say is that despite being part of BitTorrent, at no time will we be able to download third-party content infringing their copyrights, but rather the opposite, since we will be able to consume and download third-party content that share it that way.
THE BITTORRENT NOW APP ALLOWS US TO CONSUME AND DOWNLOAD CONTENT FROM THIRD PARTIES THAT ARE PART OF THE BITTORRENT NETWORK
In the app we will find different content that can be audio or video and we will have the possibility to play all this content for free. Likewise, if we like some content that we have reproduced, we can "Like" and share it, as well as follow the artist and discover similar content.
To interact with the app we will have to use the bar at the top, in which "Recommended", "Trends" and "Following" appear.
In the "Recommended" tab we will find content that the app recommends based on some criteria such as previously played content, as well as the popularity of said content.
For its part, in the "Trends" tab we will find all the content that is currently "hitting strong", which is being played by many people, and which is liked by many people.
Finally, in the "Following" tab we will find, if we have created an account, all the new content of those users we have followed. Right next to "Following" we will see the symbol of a magnifying glass, which allows us to search for content by category.
Without a doubt BitTorrent Now is a great initiative from the guys at BitTorrent, as it gives little-known content creators the chance to get noticed and have their content reproduced by thousands of people.
