Surely, if you use Snapchat, you were waiting for the new memories feature to be activated once and for all, right? Apparently, since yesterday Sunday, all users have it activated.
If you don't have the Snapchat memories function active, check that you are on the latest version of the app. If so, please close the app completely and log back in.
HOW DO SNAPCHAT MEMORIES WORK?:
“Memories” changes the way the application works. Now it will not be as spontaneous and as direct as before, having the possibility of sharing any photo or video from our roll and any story that we save in Snapchat and do not publish at the time of recording it.
To access this new function, we must scroll up the main screen where we can record the Snap. As you will see, at the bottom of the circular capture button, a smaller one appears. That is the one that gives access to Memories of Snapchat.
Within Memory, we will have this interface
In it we can access
If we hold down one of the Snaps saved in memories or in any of the photos or videos on the camera roll, this interface will appear:
In it we can edit, delete and share the selected image, Snap or video. We can also export the photo to other social networks, messaging apps, make it private by clicking on the option "Move to Just for me" and create a story based on that photo, Snap or video.
All Snaps made with Memories will appear in a white frame. This will denote that we are not dealing with a normal Snap.
POINTS TO NOTE ON SNAPCHAT MEMORIES:
I personally think Memories is a great feature that is more useful privately than publicly. Few people save Snaps to later publish them, unless it is to save data on their mobile rate. What I see as useful is to publish photos in which we have captured something specific and that we want to share.
Now it's time to know the use that each user makes of this new function. We hope this great and fun social network is not devalued.
