For a few days you can upload and view 360 degree photographs on Facebook. A new function that allows us to get the idea of what a place is like by observing it as if we were right there.
As a sample of what these photographs look like, we invite you to visit the account of the founder of this social network,Mark Zuckerberg , and look for his photographs on his wall of 360º that he recently posted. You can distinguish them because they have this distinctive
Little by little Facebook will be filled with photos of this type, but at the moment few people have cameras that can take photos of this type.
HOW CAN I TAKE 360 DEGREE PHOTOS FROM AN IPHONE AND UPLOAD THEM TO FACEBOOK?
Well, we can do them thanks to applications available in the App Store and among which we highlight the app Google Street View.
Thanks to it we will be able to capture 360º photographs, filling us with patience and with quite optimal results. You don't need to upload them to Street View since when you finish doing them, they will be recorded on your camera roll automatically.
Once captured, we will proceed to upload it to our wall, as we normally do with any normal photo:
- Click on the "PHOTO" icon that appears on the screen.
- Press on "CAREER", at the top of the screen, so that the folders of the images that we have on our device appear. Once we see them, click on the "360 degree photos" folder.
- We select the 360 degree image that we want to publish.
- We add a comment if we want.
- We publish.
In this simple way we can upload 360 degree photos on our Facebook wall.
People who see it from a PC or MAC must slide the mouse over it to see the different angles of the photo, but those who do it from a mobile must move the mouse to navigate through the photo .
Well, it's here, after announcing it last May, we now have the function of sharing and viewing 360º photos available.
