It is increasingly easier for there to be convergence between our mobile devices and our computers, either due to possibilities provided by the operating systems themselves or by external applications such as Quadro.
WITH QUADRO WE WILL BE ABLE TO CONTROL ALMOST ANY ELEMENT OF OUR MAC
This app allows us to control almost all aspects of our Mac or PC from our iOS device in a simple and colorful way. To start using the app, the first thing we have to do is download and install the Quadro application for computers and connect our iOS device to the computer we want to control or both are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
When they are connected, either through the Wi-Fi network or through the USB cable, we can begin to control our computer from our device. In the app, we will see the main screen full of icons called Pads. On this main screen or Playground we will see basic controls such as raising or lowering the volume or accessing various Safari pages.
If we slide the main screen to the right we will see what the app calls «Palettes», which are all the functions that we can control from our iOS device of those applications that the app has detected on our computer and are pre- scheduled.
From here, we can add more «Palettes» for more applications that we have on our computer, customizing each action that we want to control of that program or application.
In all the pre-programmed «Palettes» we will see two types of Pads, some complete and others that are missing the upper right corner. The first are actions themselves, such as closing a Safari tab, while the second are something similar to folders that contain other actions.
Both on the main screen and on the screen of each of the applications we can make the modifications we want, removing Pads, adding them according to our needs, creating secondary screens or creating workflows for those tasks that we do often.
Quadro is a free application but to make use of its functions we will have to purchase an annual subscription for €19.99 or the "Hero Pass" voucher for €49.99 and which is for always. You can download the app from here.
