Undoubtedly, the way of knowing the news has changed and today we have many options, from online newspapers to specific applications such as Flipboard, and the app Appy Gamer is one in the Flipboard style, but about video game news.
HOW THE APPY GAMER APP WORKS
The first thing we have to do is select a series of interests such as consoles or specific video games. This selection is not especially important, since we can later add or edit them. Also, and optionally, we can create an account.
Once these steps have been completed, we will find ourselves on the main screen, and at the bottom we will see a bar with four icons that will help us interact with the app. Each icon corresponds to a section and these sections are “My News”, “My Topics”, “Digest” and “More”.
In the "My news" section we will find news related to the selected interests ordered by publication date. For its part, from the "My themes" section, we can choose any of the selected themes and we can also add more themes.
If we access the "Digest" section we will find a certain number of important news related to the topics we have chosen, and finally, from "More" we can access our profile settings, follow people, see saved articles and access various aspects of the topics we have chosen.
As with Flipboard, in Appy Gamer we can interact with the news by reacting to it, commenting or sharing it. A very striking aspect is that if we press React, we can choose between several options such as LOL, Angry or So what?.
The app also allows us to save those news items that interest us or call our attention by clicking on the icon with the three dots in the upper right part that appears when we are in a news item, and then clicking on "Save".
