Just like Microsoft, Google also has its own niche apps in the App Store and its most recent app is Gboadr , a keyboard that puts at our disposal all the power of the search engine without having to leave the app in which we are.
At first Gboard was only available on the American App Store and in English, so if you wanted to download it, you needed a account of that Store. We have good news and we already have it available in our country.
HOW TO USE THE GOOGLE GBOARD KEYBOARD
When we have downloaded the app and, as we have already mentioned when we talked about keyboards, the first thing we have to do is enable the keyboard from Settings>General>Keyboards and then activate the option "Allow full access".
To start using it in any application, once enabled, all you have to do is press the globe icon and select it. To make use of the functions we just have to press the Google icon that appears in the upper left corner of the keyboard.
Pressing it will access the keyboard functions. We will see that a search bar opens in which it says "Search". That is where we will have to type the search we want to perform and then we will have to click on the blue “Search” button at the bottom of the keyboard.
When Gboard performs the search, the keyboard will disappear and in its place the search results will appear that we can explore by sliding them.At the bottom, we will see three icons: a magnifying glass, a kind of landscape, and the word GIF. If we click on the landscape we will see images related to the search and the same will happen if we click on GIF, showing us GIFs related to the search.
Unlike other keyboards, Gboard has emojis, so we won't have to change the keyboard to enter them, and just like Giphy Keys has a GIF search engine. It also features stroke typing, a feature of the Microsoft Word Flow keyboard
We can conclude by saying that, in addition to many of the functions of the Google search engine, Gboard has some of the best features of other keyboards, so we may be looking at One of the best third-party keyboards for iOS.
