Google always surprises us with improvements in all its Apps, but also, many other times, it publishes updates that are not worth it. Today we are going to talk about the new version of the Google translator and that, now, makes it one of the best translators in the App Store. It was missing the offline translation feature and that improvement has finally been implemented.
Who has not traveled, or plans to travel, to some destination in the world where they do not speak the language? Surely most of you have experienced it at some time and surely you have downloaded a paid translator that would allow us to translate without an internet connection, right?Well, that happened to history and we already have, in the Google translator,of 52 languages to download and be able to translate without having to connect to a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G network.
But not only that, we can also focus with the camera of the iPhone, iPad or iPod TOUCH , any text and also, it will allow us to obtain the translation without having to be connected to any network.
Google Translate becomes an essential travel companion.
How to translate offline with Google Translate:
As soon as you download the update or the app, if you didn't have it downloaded, access it and enter the settings.
From there click on the option "TRANSLATE WITHOUT CONNECTION" and all the languages downloaded to our device will appear. As you can see, many of them require updating.
We recommend you delete all the languages that we don't use, to free up storage space on our mobile or tablet, and download and update the languages that we use or are going to use. For example, if we are going to go to Germany, we will download Spanish (our language) and German (language of the country we are going to visit).
If the language we want to download does not appear, click on the "+" button that appears in the upper right and search for it among the 52 languages available to translate offline.
We hope you found this great news as interesting as we did.
