Apps for iOS that allow us to improve and share our photos are the order of the day, and without a doubt the greatest exponent is Instagram, the well-known social network. Although Instagram can serve almost any user, it can fall a bit short for professional photographers, and that is what the EyeEm app wants to supply.
EYEEM IS A COMMUNITY WHERE WE WILL BE ABLE TO DISCLOSE OUR PHOTOGRAPHS, SUBMIT THEM TO COMPETITIONS AND EVEN SELL THEM.
Without a doubt, EyeEm is a social network where anyone can upload their photos, follow users and have app users follow us, but at the same time it's a community where you can make yourself known and even sell your photographs.
The interface of the app is very similar to that of Instagram and, as we are used to, we will have to use the icons at the bottom to interact with the app. We have a total of 5 icons on the bottom bar and two on the top of the app.
There are two icons at the top: a magnifying glass and a bell. The magnifying glass allows us to search for Albums and People. For its part, the bell icon is where we will find our notifications.
In the bottom bar, we first find the “Discover” tab. In it we will find the most outstanding photographs, those that have been uploaded near our location, and we can also find articles on photography.
In the "Following" tab will be the photographs of users we follow. The central icon, which is a camera, we can upload photos, edit them and add filters.
Finally we find the tabs that, in my opinion, are the ones that make the app stand out the most, “Missions” and “Me”. In the missions tab we find what could be called contests to which we can send any of our photographs and if it is a winner, we will obtain a reward and our photograph will be used by the brand that organizes the mission.
Finally, in the "Me" tab, in addition to our profile and the photographs that we have uploaded to the app, we will find the option to join the Market, which is where the photographs can be sold and bought.
