Facebook already has its own “Periscope” and has just released the live video streaming function for all users of the social network. Until now, only a select few were able to make use of this interesting function, as happened in Spain with the Facebook reactions, but it has already been extended to all users.

Live video, broadcast from our smartphones or tablets, is booming and if Periscope made it fashionable and is the queen of live video apps, now it is Facebook the one that jumps to the fore to compete in that category.Google will also jump on stage shortly as it will have its Youtube Connect app available, which we already talked about on the web. It seems that the battle for the reign of streaming apps has begun.

We have tried making live videos on Facebook and the truth is that it works wonderfully. Our contacts on this social network have freaked out when they saw our live show.

HOW TO STREAM LIVE VIDEO ON FACEBOOK:

To carry out one of these live broadcasts, we simply have to access our Facebook account and click, as we have always done, on the area to post a comment, photos, videos, GIFs and the one that says «What are you doing? ".

Once there, we must press the area where it says "Add more to this publication" and, in the menu that appears, press the option "Live video".

Once we press, we will have to title the video and we will be able to configure to whom we want to broadcast it.

After this we will click on « Broadcast live » and we will start broadcasting live on our Timeline.

During the broadcast we will be able to receive messages from the people who see us and, also, we will be able to know what number of contacts are watching us as well as their names.

After the broadcast, the video will be uploaded to our account and can be viewed by everyone who has access to our profile. We also see the option to download it to our camera roll.

We've loved this new feature on Facebook and hope you enjoy and use it as much as we hope to.
