We have just downloaded Chomp, seeing the great acceptance it is having in many App Store and given the good reviews it is receiving.
Don't expect an application that transforms our faces, like Face Swap Live or MSQRD,it's not like that. What this app does is insert our face, or that of whoever we want, in a very simple and nice cartoon sequence that will allow us to create the most fun videos.
It is an app created by Christoph Niemann, an internationally recognized cartoonist who lends his drawings so that we literally insert ourselves into them.
At first the Chomp is suitable for children, but we can tell you that adults will also enjoy it. We tell you this because since we downloaded it, we haven't stopped creating cute sequences and we haven't stopped sending them to friends and groups via WhatsApp.
Without further prelude, we will comment on how this app is.
CHOMP, GET INSIDE A COMIC AND STAR IN IT:
There is little more to add after watching the video. As you have seen, it is about introducing our face into the circles that appear in the animations and focusing with the camera of our devices to record ourselves within the comic sequence.
For that we must allow the application to access the camera, microphone and our camera roll since that is where the videos we generate will be stored.As we all know, from the photo app of our iPhone, iPad and iPod TOUCH,we can share the video on the social app, messages, by mail that we want.
We currently have 50 scenes drawn by hand and that, surely with future updates, will increase in number.
In the US Chomp has very good reviews, obtaining 102 reviews with an average score of 4 stars, while in Spain it is not a well-known app and, at the moment , has received only 5 ratings with an average score, also 4 stars.
