Game Center for iOS was introduced in 2010 as something similar to a social network from which to manage all our games on iOS, and since then many of the games available on the App Store are compatible with Game Center and allow, among other things, synchronize our progress between devices.
Although the function of synchronizing between devices is very useful, since the iOS 9 update appeared it has stopped being useful since many users Game Center has stopped working. This Game Center bug is being reported by many users both in the Apple help forums and in others, and it seems to affect any type of iOS device.
What this error does is completely disable Game Center, which means that neither games can access it when starting them nor that users can access it from the home screen or from the settings.
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO SOLVE THE GAME CENTER ERROR IN IOS 9:
First we need to check that this Game Center error is present on our device. For this we only have to try to access Game Center from the home screen or from the Settings. If from the home screen the app presents a blank screen and when trying to access it from settings they are blocked, the error is present on our device.
Once we have verified that the error is present in our device we must do the following:
- Close all open applications.
- Activate airplane mode on our device and turn it off with airplane mode activated.
- Turn on our device and, keeping the airplane mode activated, open the Settings.
- In Settings go to Game Center and log out.
- Turn off airplane mode, enter PIN and turn on Wi-Fi.
- Go back to Settings>Game Center and log in.
Following these simple steps to the letter will fix this annoying Game Center error, but it must be said that this solution is temporary and may need to be carried out from time to time as its duration is limited.
